FAQ

1. Is there parking?

There is parking directly opposite the Lighthouse Keepers ( roadside).

2. Does the flashing beam keep guests awake at night?

While you may imagine that it would, it doesnt at all. The light is built to flash directly out to sea ( 17km out to sea to be exact). You would actually struggle to read the words on a book underneath the beam when it is flashing to be honest. There are also wooden shutters in the sea facing bedrooms should you wish to ensure total darkness as you sleep!

3. Can I stay for one night?
The minimum stay is two nights for a couple of reasons. 1) The biggest complaint from guests is that they do not want to leave, with this in mind one night is too short 2) As a small business, it makes most sense for us to have a minimum stay

4. Can we cook meals at the keepers?
There is a fully fitted kitchen with all the expected appliances ( Dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, Toaster).

5. How many bedrooms are there?
There are three bedrooms. Two double sea facing rooms and one twin room. The house sleeps maximum six people.

6. Is there wifi?
Yes, there is ample wifi in the keepers!

7. Are pets allowed?
Whilst I adore animals, we often get guests staying who have allergies, and for that reason, we have always had to keep the keepers pet free. There is a local doggy day care which I can recommend.

8. What time is check in / check out?
Check in is at 3PM on the day of arrival. Check out is at 11AM.
